Bloomsburg Children's Museum gets $6000 in grants for community outreach

The Bloomsburg Children's Museum has received a total of $6,000 in grant funding to support its educational outreach and access initiatives.
The funding includes a $4,000 grant from the Berwick Health and Wellness Fund of the Community Giving foundation: Berwick, a $1,000 grant from the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Unrestricted Fund of the Community Giving Foundation: Danville, a $500 grant from the Bloomsburg Unrestricted Fund of the Community Giving Foundation: Bloomsburg, and a $500 grant from the Patrica H. and Richard E. Garman Field of Interest Fund of the Community Giving Foundation: Selinsgrove.
Dr. Ginny Weibel, executive director of the museum, said the funds will be used to sustain and expand the museum's mobile educational programming and expand the museum's mobile educational programming and free Cultural Passes offered through public libraries.
